Dr. Olena Lennon is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the University of New Haven, where she teaches such courses as the U.S. Foreign & Defense Policy, International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Conflict Resolution. She also teaches Social Statistics at Southern Connecticut State University. 

Formerly a Fulbright scholar from Ukraine, and most recently a scholar at Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, DC she has dedicated her research to the study of political legitimacy, conflict management, and identity politics. With her family remaining in the active war zone, she has kept her finger on the pulse through direct communication with people on the ground, local media outlets, and regular visits. Her work appeared in Foreign Affairs, The National Interest, Journal of Political Risk, Yale Global, Higher Education in Europe, Demokratizatsiya, Eurasian Geography and Economics, and other outlets. Olena is also a co-editor of an online scholarly forum at The Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute. In her free time, she likes to read and spend time with her husband and two sons.
