Matt Wranovix is a faculty member in the History department and the Director of the Honors Program. A historian of medieval and early modern Europe, he specializes in religious history and the history of the book and is interested in the circulation, reception, and transformation of ideas. In the classroom, he likes to use game-based pedagogies, has taught a course on game design, and annually inflicts on his students a game he designed about the Black Death. A native of Memphis, TN, he is on a perpetual quest to find edible barbecue on the east coast. Please help.
