We create technology for the sake of humanity, but the utilitarian nature and mass-produced uniformity of technology can sometimes leave us feeling dehumanized.
By repurposing technology for personal and creative expression, we elevate mundane objects into instruments of art: a discarded video-game console becomes a grand piano, a smartphone becomes a window to another world, and social media becomes a gallery for self-generating paintings. Through this practice of playful “hacking”, we highlight the humanity of technology and reclaim personal ownership of interactions with it.
