Open Pedagogy Student Reviewers

A central feature of this fellowship program is the structure it provides for feedback from students. Faculty fellows select a former student to work with during the fellowship program. This student reviewer is offered a $300 stipend to provide regular feedback on the resources their professor is creating or revising. The selected student will work with their professor to develop a drafting and feedback plan to follow in May, June, and July (this will vary depending on the team). Because faculty members will be reaching out regularly between May and July, we ask student reviewers to agree to check e-mail regularly during this period and respond within 48 hours. This revision period concludes at the end of July with a complete review of almost-final drafts of revised resources. Student reviewers are then asked to compose a reflection on the experience to submit to project directors, Mary Isbell and Matt Wranovix. Stipends will be paid in early August, after reflections have been received.
