Austin Meade was born and raised in Austin, Texas. From a young age, he grew up listening to 70s rock bands such as Judas Priest and Whitesnake. He almost followed in his dad’s footsteps in becoming a church minister. He found his love and passion for playing music when he played guitar for his father’s church. He is heavily influenced by 70s rock bands and the punk rock bands like Paramore and Fall Out Boy. Song’s lyrics are influenced by writers like Tom Petty. He began his professional music career touring in Texas and the Oklahoma Red Dirt scene. Meade’s music overflows with wide-open soulfulness.
