Yours Truly

My name is Lauren Fligg, and I have just successfully completed Technical Writing and Presentation, an English course taught by Professor Cara Miele at the University of New Haven. I am currently in my final semester for my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Investigative Services and a minor in English.

I have written for the University newspaper, The Charger Bulletin, for a handful of semesters alongside several of my very talented peers. In addition to writing, my interests include photography, fish and frog-keeping, and cosmetics.

This course has allowed me to perfect my professional writing skills and habits, crafting me into a mature and well-rounded writer. I am extremely thankful that I was able to take part in it during my closing semester at the University of New Haven.

The purpose of this webpage is to showcase my three core projects that were completed as part of my coursework, and they are the following: Contrasting Instructions, a Quick Reference Card, and a Recommendation Report.

These three projects focused on a wide variety of criteria that improved my writing in several different areas. Please take the time to read through my work and reach out to me with any inquiries. I look forward to hearing from you!
