All the music we have worked on up until now (9/28) is up on the Google Drive. Instructions are there as well. Please use these tools for DAILY practice. There will be no more remedial work done at rehearsals on “old” music.
Any questions or concerns about any of it, please let me know. Like I said at last night’s rehearsal, there is A LOT of music for everybody to learn. Do the grind work on it now so that you’re comfortable with it sooner than later. It’s 80’s pop/rock – upbeat, lightweight and FUN yet harmonies and key changes can be difficult – as you’re finding out. Feel free to listen to the original Go-Go’s music as well to get an idea of the style/genre. As Meg has said in the past (with good reason!) this doesn’t mean you’re going to emulate the singers. This is background work.
