A Dive into LoveandLemon’s Food Blog

In this review, I will be discussing the food blog LoveandLemons. LoveandLemons amongst other food blogs use the strategy of publishing the best aesthetically pleasing photos of healthy meals to glorify how wonderful healthy eating can be. If you are looking to clean up your diet I suggest exploring and following this food blog. They center their focus around creating an organized and blissful atmosphere for their viewers. Their blog is filled with gourmet photos representing their recipes that really push for selling the viewer on their recipes. LoveandLemons food blog has a unique way of spicing up a certain food that we would normally turn our nose up at. That certain food can be as simple as a piece of cauliflower.

On their blog, they published an image of air-fried cauliflower with flourishing green garnishes along with enhancing the golden-brown bread crust that coats the outer layer of the vegetable. To add a humble expression to the photo they add a sliced lemon on the side to magnify energy and excitement making it more pleasing to the eye. The couple used a plain white background to give their cauliflower got the pop it deserves. LoveandLemons also uses emotion to attract their viewers. From observation, they include other dishes in that photo to create a full and happy sensation.

Amongst all the other buoyant meals published on their blog, there was one photo in particular that my eyes were drawn to. The photo is of a Wheat Berry salad that contains dried cranberries, winter squash, shallots, pecorino cheese, etc. The photo was taken up close of the salad letting the orange hue of the winter squash compel your eye paired with a luscious, rich green salad base that makes the shaved pearl white pecorino cheese glisten. They use cilantro as a garnish for its neon green animation. They place cranberries and leafy garnishes in the background to accompany their viewer with that healthful feeling. Using colors that work fluently with each other is another tactic used by LoveandLemons, Orange and green are one of the complementary colors which create an aesthetically pleasing picture. The orange squash placed on the leafy green salad base provides a pleasing projection for the viewer’s eye.  I don’t know about you, but after viewing their blog, it had my tummy rumbling. They way they amplify their photos really speak to the reader and their stomach!
