Hello, my name is Amy DeStefano and I am in my junior year at the University of New Haven. I am majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics and plan to become a Registered Dietitian so I can positively change lives through something we all do daily, which is eat! After completing my Dietetic Internship and getting my Masters in Human Nutrition, I hope to work with cancer patients in an oncology unit at a nearby hospital.
As with many careers, Technical Writing is an important skill to possess for healthcare professions. Therefore, I completed a Technical Writing and Presentation course in the Fall 2019 semester to strengthen my communication as a Technical Writer. The purpose of this website is to showcase some of my work from the Technical Writing course I took this past semester. I am hoping to get even more Technical Writing experience by working some freelance writing gigs.
