My name is Aneisha Green. I am a senior at the University of New Haven majoring in English with a concentration in writing and a double minor in Arabic Language-Region Studies and Professional and Technical Writing.
My concentration required me to enroll into a majority of the writing classes that the University of New Haven offers. Although challenging, I have absolutely grown as a better writer and communicator as a result. My passion for writing blossomed at 8 years old and has never stopped its perennial bloom. The conjunction of my two areas of study have peaked my interest in writing to create change, develop policies, and broaden my own cultural horizons. My degree has truly affirmed that passion within me. Some of my hobbies include singing, photography, language learning, and poetry.
I have also included a photography project from my photojournalism class that has coupled both my writing and photography skills.
