Listen to the B’way soundtrack and go watch the entire show if you haven’t already done so. You need to be more than “just familiar” with these songs. They are deceptively easy.
Note on listening to cast & album and watching Broadway production: PLEASE remember that your goal is NOT to imitate any of those performances! As we work on character development, focus on YOUR rendering of the character, not what you saw on video. The world of our play is very different from the one in the original Broadway production, so do make sure that you are making your performance your own. That goes for everyone — principals & ensemble.
