OER Commons<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Similar to Merlot and also providing a space to customize resources for your course. To peruse available resources (note you\u2019ll need to filter for educational level), visit https:\/\/www.oercommons.org\/oer<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rebus<\/strong>  <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

An excellent platform and community to search for (and build!) open resource projects. https:\/\/www1.rebus.community\/#\/open-textbook-directory<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Libretexts<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

One of the oldest OER initiatives, Libretexts was built by math and science faculty on the West Coast and develops resources on a platform similar to the one used by Wikipedia. Within every subject area represented in the libretext catalog, you can choose to look at courses that have made use of open resources (helpful for examples of how one might combine resources) or you can search through the individual resources directly. https:\/\/libretexts.org\/<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contribute to our Zotero Library<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This library of resources linked above is made with Zotero,* a tool Mary introduces to students as “the best tool around for gathering, sharing, and citing courses.” You can find her video introducing Zotero on the “tools” page<\/a> of this site. The library will grow with this project. Mary has used Zotero as an additional content management system in the classroom and, to introduce how this can work, fellows and other members of the community are invited create a Zotero account and join the public Zotero group<\/a> associated with the library above to contribute sources relevant to our open pedagogy project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
