The second major project that I completed for this course was a Quick Reference Card. This project asked us to create a sheet of quick facts and descriptions for a particular topic. Quick Reference Cards are fairly complicated, as you must craft a satisfactory explanation without settling on too much or too little information. Finding that sweet spot will allow the reader to take in the most important and clear data possible for the topic at hand.

For my topic, I chose a fish-tank setup and fish-keeping tips for success. On the front side of the card, I placed a labeled diagram of a properly established tank, otherwise known as a mechanism description. The image allowed me to point out the key features of a fish tank and the corresponding functions.

On the backside of the card, I placed a list of quick tips for fish keepers to consider when trying to establish a successful tank. They are not totally required for the hobby, but should definitely be considered when wanting to improve the quality of life for the fish.

Please see my Quick Reference Card below, followed by my explanatory writeup.
