One of Queen’s songs and more recently a movie made in 2018, that not only stood out but achieved an impressive amount of hits, Bohemian Rhapsody, sought to be rather complex yet elegant. The lyrics did not make much sense to the listeners and that’s what gives the song its mystery and complexion. “I’m just a poor boy and nobody loves me, he’s just a poor boy from a poor family, Spare him his life from this monstrosity” This lyric comes from Queen’s song Bohemian Rhapsody, the beginning lyrics speak about him killing someone, but this phrase where it says “Spare him his life from this monstrosity” should give the audience a feeling of remorse and complexion. Some rock and roll fans thought the song was focused on murder, other enthusiasts thought it was based on a love story and the rest found it more to be about Freddie Mercury himself. What is most compelling about Bohemian Rhapsody is that it has five different styles of music within which are the following: Intro, Ballad, Opera, Rock, and Outro. It’s not likely you find a song that hits more than four different styles of music (D. Pinter, February 2001).

Queen is also recognized for tailoring his songs around melodies and harmonies that interest his audience. He creates a harmony that is catchy and easy to follow. In his song, We Will Rock You, he is repetitive with his lyrics therefore it is not only a catchy song that gets everyone chanting in the audience but more transparent. Queen was fluent with his words and never sought to mumble the lyrics, in doing so this made it easier for the audience and catch on. The guitarists created a vivid melody striking from high pitches to low tone adding variety to his songs that pleased the ears of many people. The drummer’s harmony created a consistent pulsating resonance that articulated gloriously with the guitarist and the lyrics. think the hardships that the British group went through to pave their way to the top is commonly missed when others do a review on the band. Freddie Mercury’s music was initially “trash” he had unskilled band members and lacked inspiration. Unlike other rock-and-roll bands, Queen had to spend countless hours beating on his talent and seek out lowlife but talented guitarists and in the meantime prove to sponsors he is worthy. (I don’t think this should be included in the review it is irrelevant)

Their music sought to be very strong and elegant. They enchanted the audience with their intense harmonies and mystical lyrics that not only left people in awe but also raised curiosity as to what Freddie Mercury might have actually meant. Not to mention Freddie Mercury’s octaves were like no other, making his performances captivating. Although Queen’s prime time of fame was in the ’70s and 80’s their music still holds a remarkable status in the music industry today.

The band I am going to be doing a review on is the British Rock group, Queen and examining his lyrical peculiarity. If you like rock-and-roll, then you know like all the other rock bands out there that they are known vicariously for their electric guitars and their high octaves, Freddie Mercury, also known as the lead singer, was notorious for his abnormally high-pitched singing voice that …

[71,45

post-338","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-featured","category-music
["GET
